2022 SSC CHSL Recruitment

Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator are among the positions covered by the SSC CHSL (10+2) exam. Application Fee for SSC CHSL 2022

• Rs. 100/- is the application fee for SSC CHSL 2022.

• Female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt from paying a fee.

• Only SBI should be used to pay the application fee, which can be done via challan, SBI Net Banking, or any other bank’s credit/debit card. The Challan form will be created on the internet.

• After completing Part-1 registration, the candidate should print a challan created online to pay a fee in cash. Continue with Part-2 registration after depositing the required fee at any SBI branch.

• After completing part-1 registration, candidates who wish to pay online can proceed to part-2 registration. To proceed to Part-2 registration, the candidate must provide their registration number and date of birth.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL 2022

In order to be eligible for the SSC CHSL 2022, a candidate must meet three crucial criteria. The three parameters are as follows:

  1. Citizenship: A candidate must be a citizen of one of the following countries:

(a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came to India with the intention of permanently settling in India before the 1st January 1962, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi,

  1. Educational Qualifications (as of the 7th of March, 2022):

If you are applying for a position as an LDC/JSA, PA/SA, or DEO (except for DEOs in C&AG), you must have completed the 12th Standard or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University before applying.
A 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognised Board or equivalent is required for the position of Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG).

Geometry: Familiarity with elementary geometric figures and facts: Triangle and its various kinds of centres, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more circles.

Mensuration: Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square Base.

Trigonometry: Trigonometry, Trigonometric ratios, Complementary angles, Height and distances (simple problems only) Standard Identities like sin2 𝜃 + Cos2 𝜃=1 etc.,

General Awareness: Questions are designed to test the candidate‟s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions are also designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General policy and scientific research

• The SSC CHSL 2022 Tier 1 Exam has negative marking. Giving the incorrect response to a question will result in a 0.5 mark penalty in all sections.

• Candidates with visual impairments have 75 minutes to complete the exam.

Tier-II of the SSC CHSL is a descriptive test. Candidates must qualify for Tier-II in order to be evaluated on their writing skills in English/Hindi. This written exam consists of a 200-250 word essay and a 150-200 word letter or application. In the SSC CHSL Tier-II examination, a candidate must obtain a minimum score of 33%.

For candidates who are visually impaired or have cerebral palsy, the total time required is 80 minutes.

This is a descriptive exam that is designed to test the written skills of the candidates in English/Hindi. The Paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200-250 words and Letter/Application writing of approximately 150-200 words. The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 per cent. The performance in Tier-II would be included for preparing merit. The best way to prepare for the same is to read lots of articles from various newspapers. SSC CHSL Tier-III Exam Pattern

Tier III of the SSC CHSL 2022 consists of a series of skill exams that must be passed in order to be considered for various government jobs. These include typing tests, for which a candidate must have a typing speed of 30wpm (Hindi Medium) or 35wpm (English Medium) (English Medium). The test will last 15 minutes. Thirty minutes will be offered for visually handicapped (40 percent disability). After the typing exam, a merit list will be created.
