1. First of all, you need a learning licence issued and that too for about one month.
2. You need to submit the application fee then. The government aided this step by making this available for online and offline formats.

2. Then you would need to select Uttar Pradesh in the provided section.
3. On the new page, you need to find the “Apply Online.” option and click on it.
4. Then from the list, you need to select “New learning licence”.

Driving Licence Renewal

Renew your Driving Licence Offline

Here you will find the steps to renew your driving licence offline:

1. You need to visit the R.T.O office first.
2. Fill in form number 9.
3. Fill in form number 1, i.e. self-declaration physical fitness form.
4. If you drive a non-transport vehicle, you need to fill form number 1, and if you drive a transport vehicle, you need to fill form number 1A.
5. Attach your self-declaration form with form number 9.
6. At last, you have to submit the application and fee to the R.T.O office.

Renew your Driving Licence Online

2. Select Uttar Pradesh as your state.
3. From the drop-down menu, select your district.
4. A list will appear on the screen
5. Select the option “Apply for DL renewal.”

7. On the new page, you need to fill in the driving licence number and date of birth.
8. Then you need to click on “Get DL details”. 
9. Now fill the application form and submit it.

Steps to get a Duplicate Driving Licence (Offline)

Follow the steps mentioned below to get a duplicate of your driving licence:

1. Visit the R.T.O office and fill the LL.D form.
2. You need to attach the original driving licence with the form or a verified photocopy of your licence.
3. Pay the fee and submit your form to the R.T.O office.

Steps to edit the details of the learning licence are as follows: 

1. Visit the website sarathi.parivahan.gov.in
2. Open the learner licence tab
3. Click on the “LL edit entry” option.
4. On the new tab, you need to enter the learner licence number or the application number and other personal details along with R.T.O.
5. Click on “Submit”.
6. After submitting the details, a new page will open where you can edit the details of your learner licence. 

Steps to Print Learner Licence

3. Then click on ” Print Learner Licence(form 3)”.
