Expansion of the One Class One TV Program is Required
The bulk of the children afflicted by the pandemic attended government schools, and the administration recognises the need “to impart supplemental teaching and to develop a robust structure for education delivery,” according to the Finance Minister. According to the Finance Minister, the PM E Vidya Yojana will provide 200 DTH channels dedicated to Classes 1 to 12, allowing all states to deliver additional education in regional languages.
“High-quality e-content will be generated in all spoken languages for transmission via the internet, mobile phones, television, radio, and digital teachers.” “A competitive process for teachers to generate high-quality e-content will be established to empower and equip them with digital teaching tools and improve learning results,” Sitharama added.
A digital university was announced in the Union Budget for 2022-23.
The Finance Minister said that a digital university will be set up so that students can get help. To make sure that everyone has access to world-class quality and personalised learning experiences at their own home, ” This will be available in a variety of Indian languages and formats, the Finance Minister told the press. It will be built on our networked hub and spoke model, with the hub building cutting-edge ICT skills and the spokes connecting to each other. People in our country will work together as a network of hubs and spokes, the Finance Minister said.
At the start of the first wave of the pandemic in May 2020, the government began a project called PM e-Vidya, which is also called the One Nation digital platform. There is a plan in which the best universities in the country teach their students online.
